March 3rd witnessed the first General Body Meeting of the year 2019 in UB70304.The hard-working and tenacious Executive Body of the year launched Prologue 1.0; the first official meet and greet of the old, current and new faces of the IEEE community of BRAC University. The commencement inaugurated with the screening of an aesthetic film compilation of IEEE event experiences of Professor Shahidul Islam Khan, Chairperson of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Professor Khan took the stage as he enlightened the new members of the importance of an IEEE membership and the opportunities it presents them through the pathway it provides to the international communities of STEM academia. The commencement heard Ex-Chairperson IEEE BRAC University SB, Khondoker Nazib Murshed talk about his experience with the IEEE community and introduced the new Executive Body for the year 2019. Certificates were presented to the old members of the Executive Body by Professor Khan and shed some more light over how to best utilize the IEEE memberships by networking with students from universities and professionals. The event ended through some interactive teaser exchanges from Sajjad Ahmed Niloy, Webmaster IEEE SB BRAC University, and distribution of light beverages and snacks among the members.
