On 6 th march 2015, IEEE Bangladesh section and IEEE BRAC university student branch arranged two prestigious seminars (IEEE R10 Technical and WIE Seminar) of IEEE R10 jointly and over two hundred students from different universities of Bangladesh gathered in BRAC University to join the seminars. The ‘IEEE Technical Seminar’ started with the opening remarks by Er K Ramakrishna, R10 Director.

At first, Dr. Toshio Fukuda, Professor, Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China and immediate past Director IEEE R10 gave his speech on robotics and its application in medical science. Secondly, Dr. Lawrence Wong, Professor, NUS, Singapore; Vice-President MGA, IEEE, past Director IEEE R10 gave his speech on ‘Indoor localization’. Following that Dr. Janina Mazierska, Professor, James Cook University, Australia, Executive Committee Member, IEEE R10. She gave her speech on“Materials for electro technology and their microwave characterization”.

Closing Remarks were given by Dr. Sri Niwas Singh, R10 Conference and Technical Seminar Coordinator 2015 and Professor IIT Kanpur, India.
